>> Crew members need to be highly-motivated working outside in teams across the state of South Dakota.  Members of our team do have weekly overnight travel throughout the state of South Dakota. 

​>> The job does require high physical demand with the ability to lift as much as 75 Ibs repeatedly throughout the day. 

>> Applicants must have a clean driving record and will be subject a Pre-Employment drug screen.  Previous Construction experience preferred, but not required as will train.

Benefits to joining the Hamm Contracting team:
  • Starting wage of $30.00 per hour with raise potential at 90 days of employment. 
  • Annual wage increase review
  • Paid overtime (Hamm sign installation crews average yearly earnings between $55,000 to $70,00 per season)
  • 4-day work weeks.  Typical work weeks run Tuesday through Friday with weekends off.

Hamm Contracting is a regional leader in the sign contracting industry.  We specialize in removal and replacement of road signs in the Midwest.  Our office headquarters is located in Salem, South Dakota, where fabrication, assembly, and warehousing of our products take place prior to pick up or delivery to our road crews.  Our road crews work in 2 to 3-man teams throughout different counties in the region ensuring the installation of our signs are done properly and efficiently. ​
